Is the Algebra I course free?

Chapter 1 of every course is free and no card is required to begin. Everything after that is $14.99 a month.

What does Quantica's Algebra I cover?

So far, expressions, linear equations, exponents and radicals, systems of equations, graphing, inequalities, and factoring quadratics. Algebra I is in early access and later chapters, through the quadratic formula, functions and logarithms, are still being written.

Do I need to finish Prealgebra first?

No, but the two fit together. If arithmetic and fractions feel shaky, Prealgebra builds the ground Algebra I stands on.
